Born in Durban, South Africa to a Portuguese father and South African mother, Latisha began life with a unique view of the world. This diverse background has informed the range of her work from strong narrative pieces, to intricately designed sets and cinematic style films. No matter the genre, her work shows her strength as a conceptual thinker which she believes is key to creating work that resonates with an audience.

Latisha graduated with Honours in Production Design from ADFA Film School in Cape Town. Since then Latisha has been production designing in South Africa before relocating to New York 6 years ago but still works in South Africa, the US and Europe as a local.
